My 3ft tank

Finally decided to get myself a 3ft tank.
When down to the nearest lfs fishy business which is just next block from my house to get the 3ft bundle set.

Last month fb having promotion on Eheim filter so I brought the Ehiem 2217 at a good price. I got the maxspect razor 160w 8000k too.

Thursday my tank arrived.

Yesturday started doing my hardscape with some leftover seiryu rock from my old scape and brought 3 driftwood.

This is my hardscape for now, any suggestions?

Wow, your nearest LFS is high-end LFS... and all the equipment you got are also top-shelf premium stuff too, very nice!

The scape layout looks promising so far, any particular aquascaping style you are going for? That might help to narrow down the suggestions.

Okay, then quite standard... i guess you'd go for carpet plants in front, mid-ground plants around the rocks, then taller stem plants behind trimmed into dense hedges.

Alternatively, you could also get more rocks, create a embankment/divider, then put aquasoil with plants behind and fill the front with a thin layer of sand for nice effect.

I will go for aquasoil base because I already brought my power sand and amazonia last week. Gonna get some smaller stones to fill the gap in the front and back.

Nice equipment. Get more rocks. You can never have enough haha. Also, foreground plants you can think of are probably eleocharis sp mini (mini hairgrass)

Anyway, I hope you got the light diffusers. It will help a lot in getting the maxspect to diffuse light to the corners. I am using it myself for my 120W one.

I will be getting the wide angle lens for my maxspect razor also. Do you know when the maxspect razor fan will turn on?

All the item and price are on their online website. I did not buy any package just a 3ft tank bundle the light and filter for around 1.7k.
Save some money on the filter and double tap from the promotion.

Here is a small update on the tank. Added the amazonia aquasoil this is how it looks like.

Rescape my hardscape. More stone this time and added more aquasoil at the left side back.

Use up all the small seiryu stone to cover gap.
