Nice simple scape...
Hi all AQers
I did a small setup on my office desk few months back. Having a scape should be quite relaxing and soothing during stressful times at work…
Very used to doing high tech steroid driven tanks for my previous tanks, so decided to do something different - a simple low tech tank and see how things develop slowly.
Ultimately this tank is supposed to let me relax, not add to my work.
Taken a few pictures then - almost 10 months back (just using phone camera so not really high quality).
Anyway, the tank matured quite a bit and look quite differently now. Will try to take some pictures the next few days.
The first inhabitant of the tank.
Nice simple scape...
Good fish ain't cheap... Cheap fish ain't gd...
Breeding Apisto inca and Apisto guttata...
Do a shot of the scape without the tank in frame. I think it make the scape feel larger than it is haha.
Waiting for updates. Nice and simple!!
Thanks Apistonika!
Yup, I am struggling to get a decent picture of the tank. Picture is always either over exposed or you will see reflection of me on the glass.
Bingo. I have shrimps (yellow and tiger) and boraras maculatus now.
The betta had passed away... My initial plan was actually to do a betta tank.
Thank you Goalkeeper, will try to get some pictures. It looks quite different now.
Managed to get some pictures.
Quality quite crappy though...
Can see that the windelov grew quite a bit.
Recently added a wood with moss from NA. Mr Chan told me it is mini fissidens. Any bros can help to confirm (please see last pic)?
Other than that, only change is willow moss is replaced by spiky moss.

Loving this scape! Good job. Hard to see the fronds from the pictures but from what I can see, does seem like Mini Fissidens. Maybe a pro like UA or some other guru can help get a positive ID.
Hey I'm pretty curious how big your office or office desk is that you're able to put a fish tank with all the wires and plugs etc... Isn't it very troublesome to do water changes all these?
Do you mind sharing a few photos of your entire office space and desk!!
And also, I have to say that your one ft tank is really impressive!
