Hi Lukas, good idea. I will set up a 1ft cube slightly similar to this layout for easier maintenance.

Very nice photos. I got a very noob question, where are all your equipments? Did you took them out before the photoshoots?

Suggestion: why not take a reflection type of photo when your plants grow taller? Think that will be very nice too.

Nice colours and very well taken, looks good enough to make it into Amano's magazines.

When you are really serious about shooting a nice picture of your tank, it is ideal to take out all the equipments. Not really a chore like I thought of. Turn off the inlet and outlet, off the electrical supply and dump the pipes into a pail. Just 1-2 mins of work, no sweat

This batch of photos were my first 'serious shots' and it took about just half an hour from setting up equipments to finish and returning the pipes. You should also try.

Reflection is nice, but I was choosing between ripple effect and calming effect and chose the former.

Thanks Ken. Still learning to create a good layout and take good pictures. Definitely still very far from those in Aqua Journals. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement.

The ripples give the tank dynamism rather than a static feel.

Need some trimming on the foreground, but overall, this is one stunning tank, a must for ADA 2008 aquascape contest.

Just a thought. Maybe zenscape could start a poll to see which aquascape is the most popular.

I love the clarity in the scape and the photographic technique. Very clean and well manicured. Even the fishes are in place. It takes alot to get the hang of it Maurice. Cheers to all that effort

    Hi Shadow,
it is possible to submit more than one entry. However, they will have to be under different names for each of the entries. To do that, it will be down to your own creativity.
    Looking forward to your submission.

    Hi zenscape,
we look forward to all your entries. And earn a higher ranking than previous year.

Wow! We have an official ADA SG

    Thanks for the advice!

But I don't think I can get higher ranking than previous year
