    once they get use to the environment, they should be fine. I love planted tanks with minimalist fauna.

    Pic from 6/20. I have removed some plants and added others. Had a little bout with algae, so I have revised my lighting schedule. Both sets of light are now running for 8 hours. My plants are now starting to pearl.

    Nice colours, is it me or is the tank still cloudy? Love the path, looking forward when the tank matures.

    not sure about the hazy water.

    i see that you are using ecco as your filter. can i ask whether have you tried using hyrdo prime filter before? i thought it is quite widely use in the US.

    I've never heard of it. This is my first canister though. Alot of people use Fluvals and Filstars. The water being hazy may be a result of the Amazonia. I may need to run some carbon or Purigen.
