Fine River Sand

May i know where can I get this sand? Which lfs is selling? I want brown color that is suitable for corydoras.

Hi bro,C328 do have some of those Gex Brand Brown Type for sale but they only come in package of 1Kg

Fine river sand is usually beige in color. Brown colored types could be rounded fine quartz gravel, which is also nice.

I bought mine from several places, last of which was C328. I order about 10 X 10 kg packs the last time.

2 days ago i just went c328 and saw 2 packs of the Fine brown river sand. and i bought 1 pack of 5kg. not sure till today is there any left.. if not can ask auntie to order for you.

I went to C328 on Friday night but no more those brown river sand already. Auntie say the supplier come in only 2 - 3 packs only. I saw the SUDO brand at Mizuworld seem like its really very fine and smooth. I saw the 300g pack at Polyart that day but they dont have the 5kg pack.

I got my Sudo 5kg from seaview. Good price and got further discount somemore....

y619 came in sudo product also.. but the sudo bottom sand only 300g available.. i bought to try. comparing this sudo sand to c328's river sand. i would say sudo bottom sand are darking brown but c328 river sand are more natural..

i use ada shirui sand..
very very fine... finer than beach sand.
and very white as well.

i took a picture to compare.. sudo bottom sand and c328's fine river sand.

The SUDO/Starpet bottom sand is quite good. Brings out the colors better than normal fine river sand. I have a few tanks with this sand.

ya benny i agreed with you.. This sand is different as what you see in the pack and in water.
