OK sorry been rushing school report deadline tomorrow...

After not feeding shrimps for few days worms drop but == they seem to appear when I feed cause my shrimps look like they on war had to feed them... I decided to get a cooling fan instead to drop 29-26.

Er my tank only got 2 moss ball I'm thinking of getting another housing to use moss ball as the cover... As for gh n kh .... ERM is 2-3 drops high? If so how to reduce?

TDS is Total Dissolved Solids, measures the amount of organic and inorganic materials dissolved in the water.

GH and KH at 2-3 drops on test kits isn't high (assuming you are using API test kit)... CRS shrimp keepers usually try to keep GH around 4-6 and KH around 1-2. RCS shrimps not as sensitive and can tolerate wider range of GH and KH if the change is gradual.

I guess there are lots of other factors that stress them out... getting chased by net and tossed around during transportation from LFS, having trouble adapting to fluctuations in water parameters and temperatures, not enough vitamins and minerals to build their shells, strange household chemicals dissolving in the water, fishes nipping at them, owner scaring them (by peering in suddenly when they are at the tank glass, haha), doesn't help that they are low in the food chain and easy prey for most fishes too... overall, they are just easily stressed creatures.

They generally live up to a year.

There are a lot of factors in causing death to a shrimp.

Water parameters, improper acclimatization, sudden shock (movement, too huge water changes etc) and maybe even illnesses.
