    It grows in the water as well as on the soil above edge of water.

    it looks like an erect moss with roots. lol but well, it dun look aquatic.

    Hi I've actually picked 2 plantlets of this from the edge of a major water body (can't say where, feeling guilty about it :P) and had it in my tank for a few months. It didnt die, and it did put out some leaves, but eventually it was overcome by algae and died.
    I also think it could be terrestrial, but what a pity it would look interesting in a tank!

    Just bought this small booklet called "A Guide To The Common Liver Worts And Horn Worts of Singapore".
    And found something looks similiar. Could be some form of "Leafty Liverwort".

    hi , this is i think they call the singapore moss i pick up a chuk and grow in my tank super slow but it grow look like taiwan moss .

    mosses and liverworts do not have roots. and if you look at the book closely, you see that leafy liverworts have their leaflets growing from the stem on a flat plane while this plant has an alternative whorl. The plant is a pretty common herb in damp places, but is no aquatic.
