Re: Need advise on a pico shrimp tank

I used to have them in a jug without filter, aeration nor soil.
They breed like rabbit but I do not recommend this kind of setting as it is difficult to keep the water parameter stable.
Very prone to disease, infection and etc.....
I have to keep the population at a stable number and throw the excesss into my water plant pot outside(they are still alive and breeding!!! Do please take note it is a big water pot with mud and water plants).

There is a limit of how many shrimps you can have inside a beancurd box.
I don't think SGshrimp has alot of cherry in his beancurd container as once the population starts to boom, deaths will start as well.
Not an ideal thing to do.

The beancurd tub can keep 3 adults or 10 babies plus but sometimes more. This method is too different from eco-sphere.there is no substrate at all. ....please this method is for people who can control water perimeters well.

Wait you come to a normal to do mass order? Young man isn't that a violation to the forum rules is you want to do a mass order there is a sub thread for mass order. You say helpingto promote by doing mass order but I don't see you put it up in the mass order session? Or is yout tau huey kong a mass order also?? What you post alot of people also discourage yet you say it works. So are you having a rack of tau Huey kong breeding shrimp currently kindly show us. If you are reseller just admit don't say helping us to and promoting the hobby in a cheaper way. Anyone know this hobby will never end up cheap. It will only be cheap to a reseller who only need to put up holding tank. You are lucky 618 boss is not in forum if not I think you will be considering flipping sales. I know you are secondary school student who need extra pocket money please don't make yourself sound like a saint.

Are you doing mass orders without making any money? If not, then the only promotion that you are doing is to your pocket, not to the hobby.

How is it a success keeping 3 adults or 10 babies in a tau huey tub? You think you are really that good? You are just being cocky! Keeping them in those conditions is just cruelty to the shrimps, in some countries in the world you could be thrown in jail for doing that.

Only for people who can CONTROL PARAMETER WELL if want to breed shrimps in tau huay tub... Really 'too pro' for me..

I am still a hobbyist who breed shrimps in a condition which suits them if possible, beancurd tub is too extreme to the sensitive creatures in my opinion.. But guess sgshrimps like to keep them there..

Soon we will hear about 'tau huay tub shrimps breeding farm'..

Re: Need advise on a pico shrimp tank

Frankly bro chee n bro Alvin I dont understand when he say I being insensitive. He say helping other and promote the hobby with cheap mass order setup??? Is he trying to say his promoting pico tank or tau huey tub?? I am commenting against tau Huey tub he is say a mass order of cheap set up now you guys tell is it 牛头不对马嘴?? Weird right to me instead of help people get a cheaper way to setup he is indirectly causing people to sent more money. There a saying do right do it once if not you going spent a hell lot more troubleshooting. For reseller or a flipping seller he of cause can do that keep them in the tub for a few days sold. But for a real hobbist people are looking at long term. Instead he is shortening their interest in it . Sgshrimps young Sean you have a repo in the other forum...... No need spell it out to open right?

Bro disappoint in you leh with those many many setup I actually lost to a tau Huey tub setup?? Jeez than I can't help but admire his skill Liao.... Wait Eviltrain lost to a secondary school boy reseller hmm well not surprise you are a hobbyists not a reseller that why treating your shrimps to the a best environment is important to enjoy the hobby and not reselling for extra pocket...... Sorry my bad to compare but do teach if you manage to learn from the famous tau huey breeder.

My nano is currently with little live stock

    1 baby platy
    1 cherry shrimp
    1 Malayan shrimp
    3 ramhorn snail
Ada 2 soil base, some hc.

The amount of liquid is very little. Less then 1 litre, plus fact of no filtration. Can tell the shrimps are stressed in such environment.
TS: you can guage from other pico or nano setups inside fourm and judge yourself. The others just teasing sg shrimp for his Tao Huey tubs.

P.s: guys we are derailing the TS topic too much, I know intentions are good but don't make me fall off the chair will ya?
