The piece of bogwood i got it quite awhile ago at NA, need to saw the base of the wood to be able to place it in this position.

At the back of the bogwood (centre to the right)i plant some ammannia gracilis (orginal plan is Ludwigia arcuata , but unable to find it)

Then between the bogwood and the rocks tie with mosses, i have plants some crypts that hopefully will grow into big bunch to cover up the space.

instead of foreground plants maybe you can put fine sand? then it may look like a forest tapering off to a beach? just a suggestion.

Will be nice when the gosso grows and fill up the foreground.

Yes, i am using Nurafin Co2.
going to change to Co2 cyclinder with Solenoid set when i get it from my friend next week.

actually the growth rate is quite good for Nurafin Co2.

With CO2 the plants should grow well and healthy. I am currently trying on the low tech (ie. without CO2); so far the plants look okay. I just posted in this thread on my 3 weeks old tanks.

    Nice layout.
I am sure it will turn out beautifully when plants are grown.
    What's the foreground plant?

    Cheers!

    updated pic of my tank.

trimmed off the narrow leav ferns and removed Bolbitis heudelotii due to leaves turned brown and hair algae developing.
    Develop some BBA also.
will be injecting co2 via cylinder now rather than nutrafin co2.
